AML

AML is a list of approved manufacturers who produce the associated Part. Aras Innovator manages this list of Manufacturer Parts, created through the steps outlined in Sourcing. Here, we link those parts to our parent part.

Creating AML

1. Edit the part to which you would like to add the AML.


2. Click on the AML tab.


3. Click the Select Items icon to add existing items to the part. To create new items, click the Create Items icon .


4. A selection dialog appears, listing all the available manufacturer parts.


5. Select the required parts, and click on the green check mark .


6. The Sequence number is the preference of one manufacturer over another. The lowest is the most preferable.


7. Click  to save and unclaim the parent Part.
